後藤一乗は、刀装具の世界で名高い職人です。

一乗は和歌山によって認定された名工の称号を持ち、最高位の賞を受けています。

こちらは、非常に独特なデザインの鐔です。

素材には赤銅が用いられており、これは非常に稀少なものです。

表面全体には、散在する桐の紋章「丸に五三の桐」が施されています。

Goto Ichijo is a celebrated artisan in the world of tosogu.

Ichijo holds the title of Meiko (名工) as designated by Wakayama, which is the pinnacle rank awarded.

Throughout the history of Juyo tosogu, Ichijo’s name is mentioned more than 170 times.

This is a uniquely designed tsuba.

It is made from shakudo, which is an extraordinary rarity.

The entire surface features scattered Paulownia Seal, known as ‘Maru ni Go-san no Kiri’

It is the seal with 53 Paulownia (五三桐, Go-san no Kiri), consisting of three leaves and an inflorescence of 353 flowers.

The Paulownia Seal, alongside the coat of Chrysanthemum Seal, is known as the family crest of the Imperial Family.
It is also the emblem that was granted to rulers who received the approval of the imperial family.
