A copper tsuba
Attributed to Otsuki Mitsuoki (1766-1834), early 19th century
Of rounded rectangular form with raised rim, inlaid with cherry blossoms in silver honzogan floating in turbulent waves, engraved in katakiri and kebori, the reverse with a long inscription, signed Dairyusai Tsuki Mitsuoki with kao. 7.6cm (3in).
