The saya of ribbed roiro lacquer with scattered tomoe-mon and sue-monin aogai-nashiji; the fittings of silver nanako with tomoe-mon and sue-mon in shakudo takazogan; the menuki of gold, each of three sue-mon, unsigned. 99.7cm and 53.3cm (39¼in and 21in) long. (3).

For the maker of the fittings, see R. Haynes, Index no.H00856. The name can also be read Seijo which leads one to suppose that he may have been a student of Goto Seijo. He was known to work in the Mito style.
