A koshigatana koshirae
With fittings by Fujii Naoyuki, late Edo Period
The wood saya clear lacquered and decorated in gold takamakie with trailing foliate fuji (wystaria) branches; the shakudo nanako fittings inlaid in gold, silver and copper takazogan with the junishi (twelve animals of the zodiac), the fuchi signed Fujii Naoyuki with kao. 46.4cm (18¼in) long. (2).
