of rounded rectangular form with raised rim, carved in relief with a sage seated on a rock holding a book, details in gold zogan, the reverse finely engraved in katakiri-bori with a spider monkey climbing on a stand of bamboo, signed Tsuchiya Yoshichika with kao, dated Kaei 2 (1849)
