A richely carved Kozuka by Furukawa Jochin, student of Genchin, who was a student of Somin. Quite rare to find such dynamic katakiri bori works from the Furukawa school.
Also, while tiger and dragon as legendary enemies are often depicted together on a piece of tosogu, a scenery of actual physical fighting is rare.
