The blade of hira-zukuri form, with narrow choji-ha of nie and nioi, mokume-hada, the ubu-nakago with one mekugi-ana, signed Sesshu ju Ieshige saku; in shirasaya; koshirae: the saya of aogai-nashiji with dragonflies in gold takamakie; iron Higo tsuba; fuchi-kashira, kozuka and kojiri of dark shibuichi with dragonfly designs, unsigned. 28½cm (11¼in) long.
