The theme of this Tsuba is Bamboo. It was crafted Nimai Awase of two pieces being forged together. You can find the line of the two pieces in the Hitsuana. It has a Yakite surface with Sukidashi and Usuniku-bori techniques. The craftsman, Tadanori from Bushu, was a disciple of Akasaka Tadatoki, the third generation.
