Other Info
The theme of this Tsuba is Daffodils, Daffodils bloom in early spring in white and yellow colors. The blooms are trumpet shaped and were grown in gardens from the old days. This Tsuba used well-forged iron and high carving skills in an attractive and lean design. The gold seal inlay is interesting but unknown. Considering the features of the work it was likely crafted by the Bushu Tradition. It has passed the Tokubetsu Hozon Tosogu in 2022.
