The blade of shinogi-zukuri form, sanbon-sugi-ha of nioi, indistinct mokume-hada,the nakago with one mekugi-ana, unsigned; with koshirae: the black lacquered saya with dragonflies in gold and coloured takamakie with details of aogai; iron sukashi tsuba of Bushu type, in the form of two dragonflies, signed; fuchi-gashira of shakudo nanako with inlaid butterflies. The blade 65.4cm (25¾in) long.
