Lovely quality iron on this one. Interestingly I’ve seen identical examples to this one, papered to both Saotome and Hizen.

This one has made the rounds, attributed to Hizen. The wangata form exhibits Chinese influence—the pointed hitsuana have a Higo feeling. The round washer seat on the ura has a Monsoon Asia feeling. Very attractive and intriguing piece
