Natsuo KANO was born in Kyoto in, and studied under Takashi IKEDA of the Otsuki school and practiced it and became a taisei. This kiln is a silver nunome inlays, which was popular at that time, and the satsuki that can be seen from the gap between the cedar stem and the branches. The whole thing is a light carving, but the presence of oki, the dark lights of the night, and the wet air are beautifully expressed. I am simply amazed by the ability of natsuo, who is able to finish the familiar landscape so far.
