Misho is a goldsmith of the Mito Tamagawa school and has a joint work with Ichiyanagi Tomozen on a sword guard with a dragon and tiger design and a small handle with a hermit design.
This sword guard is made of high-quality, iron-quality base metal and depicts a dragon and tiger glaring at each other with skillful use of chisels. The blurring of the dragon’s tail peeking out from the clouds on the reverse side, as well as the surface, has an indescribable taste.

美章は水戸玉川派の金工で、一柳友善との合作の龍虎図鐔や仙人図小柄があります。
この鐔は良質で鉄味良い地鉄を用い、睨み合う龍虎を巧みな鏨使いで表しています。表面はさることながら、裏面の雲からのぞき出す龍の尻尾のぼかし具合には、なんとも言えぬ味を感じます。
