The blade 16th century, later mounted as an aikuchi
The blade of hira-zukuri form, narrow suguba of nie and indistinct masame-hada, a dragon and ken horimono to one side and a Buddhist inscription to the other, the ubu-nakago with one mekugi-ana, signed Soshu ju Yasuharu saku; in shirasaya; Koshirae: black lacquered ribbed scabbard; shibuichi fittings carved and inlaid in gold takazogan with fish, octopus and lobster, the fuchi signed Rakusei Toshiharu zo and the kojiri signed Toshiharu.
The blade 22cm (8 5/8in) long.
