Hon-zukuri, iori-mune, chu-gissaki, torii-zori, forged in a flowing itame-hada, the tempered edge choji-midare and kawazuko-choji with a haki-kake boshi, the tang ubu, kuri-jiri with two holes and suji-kai file marks, signed Soshu ju Masahiro; one-piece gilt-copper habaki; 18 3/4in (47.6cm) long
