This tsuba is a bit of a beast. It is made of iron with brass inlay and a brass mimi. It measures 85.6mm (H) X 97.8mm (W) X 3.30mm (T, measured at nakago ana), 6.35mm (T, max), and weighs in at 154.2g. The design elements are a storm a dragon, and a tiger.
I have to admit I am confused by the maker: The mei says/it was papered as:
竜丈子英隨
as usual, the translators completely messed this up. I believe it is supposed to be read: Ryuubunshi Teruyuki. Teruyuki was a Satsuma guy (see Haynes H 09665.0) or guys – Haynes claims some sources said there were 2 generations.
