Three iron armourers’ tsuba
Myochin and Saotome Schools, 16th to 18th century
The first of convex circular form, with a dragon and cloud in relief, signed Myochin Nobutada, dated Eisho gannen (1504); the second of mokko form, engraved with a gourd vine, signed Nobuie; the third of rounded rectangular form with a hammered ground, signed Iemitsu.
8.5cm (3 3/8in), 9.2cm (3 5/8in) and 8.9cm (3½in). (3).
