The first of diagonally divided iron and sentoku, carved and inlaid with a sage beneath an overhanging rock by a lake, signed Hiroyoshi with kao, 6.4cm (2½in); the second of shibuichi, inlaid in iroe takazogan with a peasant falling back as a goose dives down towards him, signed Echizen no Daijo Nagatsune […] Sadanaka kore o horu with kao, 6.7cm (2 5/8in); the third of copper, engraved and inlaid with a cormorant and an egret by a stream, signed Heianjo no junin Ichinomiya Kenryushi Nagayoshi with kao, 6.4cm (2½in).
