Three soft metal tsuba

The first of shakudo, of oval form, delicately inlaid with a crane and wakamatsu by a stream beneath the setting sun, the reverse with two flying cranes, in gold and copper honzogan, signed Jochiku with kao, 6.7cm (2 5/8in); the second of sentoku, inlaid in silver and shakudo takazogan with an egret perched on a bridge post, signed Jochiku with kao, 7cm (2¾in); the third of shibuichi, inlaid with a fox in female attire leaping out of a rice stook to catch a rat in a trap, signed Shozui (Masayuki), 6.7cm (2 5/8in).
