The silver kozuka both signed Furukawa Jochin with a kakihan
Japan, 18th to 19th century, Edo period (1615-1868)

The kozuka of shibuichi, both with fine kebori and katakiri, one depicting a heron on a rocky outpost above a river and under a willow, the other with a joyously smiling sarumawashi. Both signed FURUKAWA JOCHIN with a kakihan on the reverse. With an inlaid sentoku kozuka depicting a leafy grapevine.

LENGTH 9.7 cm each

Condition: Excellent condition with minor surface wear.
