The oval shakudo tsuba with the kozuka hitsu and kogai hitsu-ana plugged with gold, with some copper sekigane, bearing a masterfully punched nanako ground, decorated in iro-e takazogan with stunning gold inlays depicting an omote plant, the leaves splitting to reveal its seed. Signed Eisei and kakihan (artist’s cursive monogram).
