You are so accustomed to see Shibuichi in that dark grey that the restored set seems to look almost too new in a way! My absolute favorite job, clean them and bring them back to their original beauty. This is the Kozuka. The original patina has darked down considerably over time due to sulphides in the air combining with the silver component of the alloy. But things improve,thankfully. You can tell that this is how Shibuichi is supposed to look.
So much more character after the restoration. Don’t make the problem serious. Wishing you a pleasant experience with tosogu
